Special Instruction refers to the designing of a learning environment and program that promotes a child's development. This includes providing information, modeling, training and support to positively affect the development and maintenance of skills.
Special Instruction teachers can work directly and/or indirectly with general education professionals in order to meet a student's individualized goals.
